Songs to Sleep By

Because I am an idiot, I didn't know that I had to register as an OFW at the POEA before leaving the country on a work visa. Friends said that in the past they were able to do POEA blah blah at the airport. But either because it was late at night or policies have changed, I was told I couldn't fly out tonight after endless begging and pleading with various parties.

And so I was in a helluva bad mood tonight; I decided to make a new playlist to calm my nerves. I call this one Slumbers; a generally slow paced set of songs that can be listened to while doing some easy driving on a Sunday afternoon, when getting a massage, or as I'm falling asleep on an airplane (if I ever manage to get myself on one).

1. Signs - Bloc Party
2. Secret Heart - Feist
3. Can't Take It In - Imogen Heap
4. Sovay - Andrew Bird
5. You're A Wolf - Sea Wolf
6. Major Label Debut - Broken Social Scene
7. As You Are Now - Suzanne Vega
8. The Warning - Hot Chip
9. Blue Turning Gray - Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
10. Somewhere Over The Rainbow - Israel Kamakawiwo'ole
11. The Greatest - Cat Power
12. Roslyn - Bon Iver and St Vincent
13. Casimir Pulaski Day - Sufjan Stevens
14. Her Morning Elegance - Oren Lavie
15. My Favourite Book - Stars
16. Hysteric - Yeah Yeah Yeahs
17. Heartbeats - Jose Gonzalez
18. Naked As We Came - Iron and Wine
